2 Cor 4:3,4
And when our gospel is vieled. it is veiled to those who are perishing. (4) The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

if satan has blinded and bound men and women, how can we ever see souls saved? This is where you and I enter the picture. Spoiling the goods of the strong man has to do with liberating those whom satan has blinded and is keeping bound

Prayer is a primary weapon in combating spiritual blindness.

1 John 5:14.15
This is the assurance we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will. he hears us (15) and if we know that he hears us-whatever we ask- we know that we have what we asked him

Then he immediately challenged believers to apply this principle by asking God to bring life to unbelievers

1 John 5:16-21
If anyone sees his brother commit a sin that does not lead to death, he should pray and God will give him life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that he should pray about that.

(17)All wrong doing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death. (18) We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one does not touch him. (19) We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

(20)We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true-even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

(21) Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.

The eyes of the believer must be enlightened to understand spiritual power, authority, and protection which is our inheritance in Christ.

Eph 1:18,19
I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

(19) and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength,
